Maps

Haven

In one line: The only map in the pool with three sites. The defense has a spawn close to all three and has to split up; the attack has long rotations but can choose between three targets and use mid to threaten two at once.

Callouts

Win condition

Haven has three sites: A, B and C. For the defense, that means fewer players per site than on any other map; for the attack, it means always having one more site to threaten.

On attack the win condition is making the defense move: showing presence on a site, or taking Mid Courtyard and Garage, until the defense rotates, then hitting wherever it is weakest. If you go into a site without having moved anything, you find the defenders in place and the rotations arriving early.

On defense the win condition is delaying and informing. The defender spawn is close to all three sites, so rotations are short: whoever holds a site does not have to win alone, they have to waste the attack's time and call what they see straight away. The rotation does the rest.

Callouts

The names to know first:

  • A Long: the long, open corridor from A Lobby to A site. A Short, which many call Sewer, is the second way into A, starting from Mid Courtyard. A Link connects A site to the defender spawn.
  • A Heaven is the high position above A site; A Hell is the low area beneath it.
  • Mid Courtyard: the open space in the center, leading to B, Garage and A Short. Mid Window is the opening on the defender side that looks over Courtyard. Mid Doors is the passage between Courtyard and Garage.
  • Garage: the covered passage linking the center to C site.
  • B Back: the back part of B site.
  • C Lobby and C Long: the attack's starting area and the long corridor towards C site. C Link connects C site to the defender spawn.

The interactive map shows the main names; you will pick up the finer ones in games, by listening to how your teammates call them.
