Terms of service
The rules for using ClutchLeague: who can play, what we ask of you, what you get from Premium and how to leave.
Version 2026-10-04
1. Who we are and what ClutchLeague is
ClutchLeague (clutchleague.gg) is a community platform run by Patrick Gharapetians that helps players organise competitive 5v5 VALORANT custom games, with its own levels, an ELO rating and results read from the official match data or, when it is not available, confirmed by the players with an end-of-match screenshot.
ClutchLeague is not a Riot Games product. It does not use the Riot Games login or the Riot Games API and it is not endorsed by or affiliated with Riot Games. VALORANT and Riot Games are trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
2. Who can use it
You can use ClutchLeague with a Discord account, following these terms and the fair play rules.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Discord account. You choose a username and declare your Riot ID, which is required to join the queue. We verify it with the first match you play: it must be yours and unique, meaning two accounts cannot use the same one. You are responsible for it being correct; a wrong Riot ID can lead to a temporary block.
One person, one account. Do not share your account and do not create additional accounts to avoid a sanction or to boost a rating. You are responsible for what happens through your account.
4. Playing, results and fair play
Matches are played in custom games that you and the other players create in VALORANT. ClutchLeague organises the lobby and records the result; at the end of the match we read the result and statistics from the official match data through an external service (HenrikDev); if we cannot find it, the result is confirmed by the players with end-of-match screenshots and a verification step. A false result, a doctored screenshot or any form of cheating, boosting, win-trading, harassment or no-show can lead to sanctions as described in the Fair play rules.
Ratings, levels and statistics are computed by ClutchLeague and are not guaranteed to be free of errors: if a result is wrong you can open a dispute and, if you are sanctioned, an appeal.
5. Premium, credits and cosmetics
Premium is an optional monthly subscription. It renews automatically every month until you cancel it; you can cancel at any time from the billing portal and Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid. Premium unlocks the premium queues, teams, user-organised tournaments, a monthly allowance of match credits and the full ClutchLeague Academy guide. The free Academy chapters, and the opening of every premium chapter, stay open to everyone; when Premium ends the premium chapters close again, and your reading progress stays.
Match credits are used to start premium matches. Monthly credits expire at the end of the period they were granted for; credits you buy and credits earned as mission rewards do not expire while your account is active. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable, except that a credit is returned when the match it paid for is cancelled before it starts. Anyone can buy credits; using them in the premium match queue needs credits, not an active subscription.
Cosmetics (frames, banners, titles) are a personal, non-transferable licence to display items on your profile. They are earned from missions, granted by us or included in Premium, and have no cash value.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates; we never see or store your card details. Prices and any applicable taxes are shown before you pay. Premium, credits and cosmetics are digital content supplied immediately: by completing the purchase you ask for the content to be supplied right away and you acknowledge that, once it has been supplied, you lose the right of withdrawal that consumers normally have for distance contracts. This does not affect your rights if the content is defective or not as described.
6. Tournaments
Tournaments are organised on ClutchLeague by us or, with Premium, by users. Organisers decide the calendar and settle disputes inside their tournament within these terms. At the moment tournaments carry no entry fee and no cash prizes.
7. Content you provide
Your username, team names, team descriptions and any text you write must not be offensive, unlawful or infringe other people’s rights, and may be removed. You keep the rights to what you write; you give us the licence needed to display it on the service. Screenshots you upload are used only to verify the match and are deleted after 30 days. The error reports you send about Academy are read only by the staff and are used to fix the guide.
8. Suspension and ending your account
We may warn, suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or the Fair play rules, and we may remove content. You can delete your account at any time from your privacy settings: there is a 14-day grace period in which you can change your mind, then your personal data is erased or anonymised as described in the Privacy policy. A ban stays effective after deletion, so deleting and re-registering does not lift it.
9. Availability and liability
ClutchLeague is provided as it is. We work to keep it available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect losses, for the behaviour of other players, or for problems caused by VALORANT, Discord, Stripe or other third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or the rights you have as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a substantial way we publish a new version and you will be asked to accept it before you continue to use the service. The version and its date are shown at the top of this page.
11. Law and contacts
These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. For questions or complaints write to the contact shown at the bottom of this page.
