Spike, timings and special rounds - 10.4
1vX clutches
In one line: A clutch is a round where you are left alone against several opponents. It is not won with aim alone: it is won by isolating one fight at a time, using time and the spike to your advantage, listening, and deciding calmly when to go for it and when to save.
What a clutch is
A clutch is a situation where you are the last player alive on your team against one or more opponents: 1v2, 1v3, sometimes more. Winning a clutch is one of the best moments in the game, but it is not luck: strong players win more clutches than others because they follow a few precise rules.
The most important one: in a clutch you do not have to win a 1v3, you have to win three 1v1s, one after another. Everything else (position, time, sound, the spike) is there to make exactly that happen.
