Maps
Abyss
In one line: A two site, three lane map with no barriers on its edges: fall off and you die. It has many levels, long lines and high positions reached with ascenders. You win by controlling mid and moving carefully, without giving away rounds with a fall.
The other layers come with Premium (here: callouts only).

Win condition
Abyss has a classic structure, two sites and three lanes (A Main, mid, B Main), but one unique feature: the edges of the map have no barriers. Fall off and you die. That changes how you move, how you use movement abilities and even how you fight.
On attack the win condition is taking mid and from there threatening both sites, taking the high positions away from the defense. Going in through a main without having taken anything means facing a defense waiting for you from above and from range.
On defense the win condition is knowing early where the attack is coming from and using the high positions to delay it. The lines are long: a defense that sees the attack coming can make it pay for every step.
Callouts
The main names:
- A Lobby and A Main: the attack's route to A, on the right as you leave spawn. On site there are A Tower, a high position overlooking the site, A Bridge and A Back.
- B Main: the attack's route to B, on the left and lower down. B Link connects B site to mid; B Tower is B's high position; B Danger is a narrow side passage towards B, exposed and close to the drop.
- Mid Library, Mid Catwalk and Mid Bend: the parts of mid. Catwalk is a high passage across the center.
Some high positions are reached with ascenders. The interactive map shows the main names.
