Probe
In one line: A light attacking move on a site to see how the defense reacts, without committing.
What it means
Probing means "testing" a site: one or two players move up, maybe use a small ability or take a step inside, and watch. Does the defense answer with utility? Do more players rotate in? Is anyone in an odd spot?
It is a cheap way to gather information. It works if the team then uses the answer: if the probe draws three defenders to A, the round goes to B. If nobody listens to the result, it is wasted time.
An example
Two players step into A main and send a drone. The defense answers with a smoke and a molly: at least two defenders are ready on A. The team goes B.
