Sentinel
Vyse
In one line: The liquid-metal sentinel: an invisible nest that slows and wounds, a trap that closes a wall behind whoever comes in, a rose that blinds on command and an ultimate that jams the enemy's primary weapons. She separates and punishes whoever enters her site.

Abilities
Vyse's kit is made of hidden traps:
- Razorvine: a nest of liquid metal you throw that turns invisible on the ground. When you activate it, it spreads out and slows and damages whoever moves inside;
- Shear: a hidden wall trap. When an enemy crosses it, an indestructible wall rises behind them for a few moments, separating them from their teammates;
- Arc Rose (signature): a hidden rose you place on a surface (even through a surface). When you activate it, it blinds whoever is looking at it. It can be picked up and placed again;
- Steel Garden (ultimate): metal thorns over a wide area that jam the primary weapons of the enemies hit: for a few seconds they can only use their sidearm or knife.
Vyse's principle is isolation: separate an enemy from their teammates and make them fight at a disadvantage.
When to pick
Pick Vyse when:
- the team needs a sentinel who punishes executes: Shear separates whoever goes in first, Razorvine slows and wounds, Arc Rose blinds;
- the map has narrow entrances where a wall behind the first player in isolates them completely;
- you want a sentinel with a retake or defense ultimate: Steel Garden leaves enemies with their sidearms right when they have to fight;
- you like setting traps and reading how the enemy enters sites.
Vyse is also useful on attack: the same traps protect the post-plant and the flank.
A less obvious advantage: Vyse's traps change the way the enemy enters sites. After a couple of rounds where the first player in gets isolated, the attack starts coming in slower and with more utility, and every second lost is a second gained by the defense.
