Why

Teammates need seconds to rotate. A call made early ("they are on B, lots of them") can be worth the retake; one made late leaves the spike planted with nobody nearby.

How to train it

Use short phrases, straight away: site, how many, utility. If you later find out there were fewer, correct it: that beats a late call.
