Goal

Make stopping before you shoot automatic. In VALORANT shots fired while moving almost always miss: whoever stops faster fires the first accurate shot.

How to do it

In the range, stand in front of a static target at medium distance. Move right, then tap the opposite key for a moment to stop and fire a single shot at the head. Move the other way and repeat. Do sets of twenty, calmly.

Once the motion is consistent, try two shots instead of one, then moving targets. Do not speed up until your shots are accurate: speed comes on its own.

How you know it works

It works when the shot after the stop is accurate almost every time, without thinking about it. In deathmatch you notice it because you stop seeing your opening shots land far from the target.
