How to create a 5v5 custom match in VALORANT
To create a 5v5 custom match you open VALORANT, go to Play, choose Custom, set the mode to Standard and the map, then invite the nine other players with the party code. On ClutchLeague one player is chosen as host: they publish the code and everyone confirms that the settings match.
The steps in VALORANT
The host does these steps once the lobby is ready.
- Open VALORANT and press Play, then choose the Custom game tab.
- Set the mode to Standard and pick the map decided by the veto.
- Make sure cheats are off and the other settings are the default ones.
- Copy the party code and give it to the other nine players.
How ClutchLeague helps
The queue puts ten players in a lobby, splits them into two teams and runs a map veto. One player becomes the host and publishes the code on the page, hidden by default.
Everyone then confirms that the lobby settings match. If something is wrong the host has 90 seconds to fix it, as many times as needed.
After the match
When the game ends ClutchLeague automatically reads the official match data, using the players’ Riot IDs: result and stats are verified and the ELO is applied, with nobody having to upload anything. If the match cannot be found, each player captures the final screen and, if enough screenshots agree, the result is verified.
